About

My ethos

I don’t do online PT.

I love the internet for connecting with people but I don’t think we need to do everything online, particularly something as physical and personal as PT.

I don’t think that zoom calls are able to replace real one on one interactions and I don’t think they need to.

I discovered Strength Training 14 years ago and I now I love nothing more than sharing that gift with as many people as I can during one on one sessions.

My approach is very simple and well suited to people who lead busy lives and love relaxing at home.

I’ve always maintained that the key to strengthening your body is balance: shorter, less frequent but fairly intense work outs followed by rest and proper nutrition yield the best results.

I prefer working on a small number of key exercises until my clients have mastered the technique. I don’t like to over complicate things.

I’m looking for clients to work with closely on achieving whatever fitness goal they may have, be improving that general fitness, muscle building, fat loss, injury rehab or all of the above.

All I ask is that you show up once a week and try your best during our sessions, as well as trying to follow the plan which we agree upon, as much as life allows you to.

If my style of personal training sounds appealing to you please get in touch to book your complimentary intro session.

The pricing of PT can often be confusing.

I’ve experimented with many different models, supposedly in the interest of client satisfaction and flexibility, before coming to the realisation that simplicity and equality of pricing is best.

“I’m impressed with the results I’ve achieved with Louis. Starting in May 2024, I was overweight and uninspired. Working with Louis gave me routine and structure I desperately needed. As someone who hasn’t always enjoyed the commercial gym environment, Louis gave me the confidence to workout with a set routine I could stick to and get results from”.
